Technical editing for LCH’s rebrand.
In 2021, LSEG’s acquisition of Refinitiv from Thomson Reuters marked a significant consolidation move in financial data and market infrastructure. As the expanded group integrated, I supported the new team in rebranding, bringing around 50 pieces of LCH’s technical literature into the LSEG identity.
RESULT
Updating Clearing House literature for a new brand
LCH’s literature helps institutional teams understand its services, compare options and work through operational requirements. I applied LSEG’s new copy conventions across a large suite. I also advised on how dense information should be presented on the page.

The page below of a consumer protection brochure is revealing
LCH’s customer protection brochure explains the account arrangements available to clients. There’s an important relationship between the copy and the diagram.
clear from the outset
The opening explanation distinguishes protection of collateral value from protection of specific assets. Readers need that distinction before considering the individual arrangements.
Keeping the language consistent
The decision tree’s short labels on the right must align with the fuller descriptions of the plans on the right.
NOt trying to do too much
All choices are in view here. The following pages provide more detail on each plan, giving readers somewhere to go now that they need a fuller explanation.
